Love what Im doing

I had a phone call at work today that made me stop and think about what I do. As most of you know I work for as the "go to girl"at a RV dealer. I started as a sales person and have moved to a new job as chief bookkeeper, warranty claims person, service person, and all around go to chick.
I had a call today, and the person at the other end of the phone said....you sound like you really like what you do. My answer was....this is my passion. I love talking to people about travel.And selling the best RV out there makes it easy. But the best part is that Im lucky enough to have the best clients. If you haven't stopped by and saw me and take a tour of the trailers...stop by and say hi. Careful thought you may fall in love....

Too cold!!

Sorry there are no pictures. And very little to report. It was too cold the work on my baby this weekend. But I did go and visit. I have been checking out a lot of other blogs and I have found a new site. Its called "You Tube". Ok its only new to me.....Im a little slow..... Anyway there are many great reports on how to remodel an Airstream. Just have to take one step at a time.

And it begins..

Today was the day to start one of the biggest projests I have undertaken.

I took the flooring out in my Airstream today. It had the worst carpet.

There had been some kind of animal living in it for the past several years.

So with crow bar and hammer in hand I spent the day on my knees.

I took out 4 bags of carpet of to the garbage.

I opend up the awning today also. There is one small rip in it. But is easy to fix.

Ya!! Now the dreams start. Picking out colors, flooring,countertops,cabnets.

It is going to be some fun!!!! Ready to go with me......Stay tune..

Can't stop dreaming!!!!

I spend my every waking moment thinking about my new trailer. What color to paint the inside! what kind of flooring to put in it! What style should I do!. It's like moving into a new apartment and starting all over.
I spend most of my last day off cleaning it. I vaccumed until I was blue in th face. Thankful that nothing jumped out at me. I have the feeling that there was some kind of furry thing living in there. There are bits of insulation in places your wouldnt expect to find it. I got as far as the bedroom before I had cleaned enought for the day.
So I am taking ideas for names to name my baby. I really like the name Wish-kah! That was the name of my first husbans dogs name. And I hae always liked it. And i have wished for my Airstream for so long. But I have also considered the name of Airy- Fairy.....Thats kinda me too.
As I spend time in her and get to feel the feelings it will come clear to me.

New Baby

Well she has made it home...Sunday went to Bend to get my new baby. The trip over was nice.It was clear skies in centeral Oregon. It took several hours to check her out and make sure we were up for the trip. We locked her up and hit the road.Stopping in Madras to see if everything was going ok. It was so hearded over the mountain. All was well until snow!!!! At one point my baby was stopping traffic. And not because she is so pretty. Once you stop on black ice it is hard to get started again.
After 14 hours we made it to babies home. Atleast for a while.
I spent most of Tuesday cleanering and there are many more day ahead. I want to get her cleaned up and then I can start one at a time getting things checked out.
It will be a fun trip and i will take you with me......
