After many month of not posting on my blog.I will add a few new stories and get you up to speed on whats going on in the farmgirls life.

I spent 8.5 months being a camp hostess. What a blast that was. I met some of the best people and still stay in contact with them. It was a great spiritual growning time for me. I learned a lot about myself as well as others. I lived in my 16 ft vintage travel trailer. I had no hot water and no bathroom. I was lucky enough to have that all in the camp ground.
After reading Eat Love Pray two times and seeing the movie. This was my own spritual journey.

And time goes on!!!

It has been sometime since I have posted anything here. So I will get with it.
I have been back for the journey for 3 months now and getting settled into my new place.
I have found an appartment in downtown Milwaukie. Very nice. Can walk to many things. And farmers market every Sunday. It is very Metro.
Unlike my life on my trip. I will tell you a little about it and more as time goes on.
I spent 8 months in Tuggman State Park in Southern Oregon Coast. It is located right on
the sand dunes. However I didnt go play on then. I met many people that did.
I lived in my 16 ft vintage travel trailer. Very small but home. I felt very at home there. Spent most of my time outside. Walking around the camp ground or over to the lake. Many hours to think and daydream. I so miss that. I have learned that I am a person that enjoys being by myself. I like to have people around but not in my space. Even if it is only 16 feet.
I love my place now but there is a part of me that misses my small space.

Pictures of the trip here.
I have landed in my new journey home spot. I got here on Monday but it took me several days to get my feet under me. In fact I woke up this morning and wasnt ready to get up. So I went back to bed and slept for another 3 hours. Now this is after a 2 hour nap yesterday. Maybe there should be another chapter in the book(Eat*Pray*Love) sleep...

The trip from my daughters house where I had been staying in Portland, I went down I-5 to Cottage Grove and turned and headed West to the Coast line. I took Hwy 38 and Went through
Drain,Oregon. This is on place I have never been. But how beautiful this was. The weather was so pretty. The bluest skies I have ever seen. I passed a drift boat on the river and i couldnt tell where the boat stopped and the river started.

I got to my destination and got the car unpacked. To late to make a good dinner, so we went out to dinner. Because of the time change it gets dark very early. But the moon was full.
I will add pictures tomorrow...going out for a walk and see the storm that is blowing in

24 hour countdown

The car is packed and the clock is ticking. I have said good bye to many of you, headed off on my
traveling journey. I have to say this is not with out may tears. And second thoughts. However it is time to go and see what this holds for me. Change is always scary, all ways second thought, all ways
what if????

As I have now passed into the second half of my life I dont want to ever say.....What if!!!!

For any of you that have not yet read Eat*Pray*Love by Elizabeth Gilbert its time!! You will have a new out look on life. Go to the library and check out the audio. Stick it in the car and listen to it while you drive. Its a great way to "read" a book. Also you will not have spent any money and need any more space to store it when you have listened to it. It a "Green "thing to do.

So its up early in the morning and put the few last minute things in and hit the road.
